Dr Natalya Fox

Hi! I’m Dr Natalya Fox, an NHS Dermatologist appointed to a Consultant post at Kingston Hospital, Surrey. Prior to this, I completed by Dermatology Specialty Training in South London, based at St George’s Hospital as part of the London Training Programme with regular teaching at the world-renowned St John’s Institute of Dermatology in London. I’m also the co-founder of DermCoach, a postgraduate medical education platform specialising in dermatology education offering regular courses and teaching to other medical practitioners across the UK.

My academic journey started north of the border in my homeland of Scotland based at the University of Edinburgh- a beautiful city and world-class university. Here I gained my primary medical qualification (MBChB) before moving to London as a junior doctor where I have worked ever since. Throughout my training I have actively participated in research and quality improvement projects, presenting nationally and internationally including at the British Association of Dermatologists and European Academy of Dermatology & Venereology. My love of teaching and presenting has culminated in several awards, most notably the prestigious Hugh Wallace Senior Registrar Prize at the Royal Society of Medicine (London).

I’m registered with the British Association of Dermatologists and regularly attend specialty conferences and courses to keep up to date in the field, in particular in my special areas of interest- women and children’s health. I’m passionate about communication and education around my patients’ skin concerns, and pride myself in helping patients to truly understand their skin condition and take their concerns seriously using a holistic approach. My friendly and relaxed approach helps patients to feel truly comfortable when approaching their skin.

In my home life, I’m a Mum of three; my daughter and twins (boy and girl) keep me busy and fit, and we enjoy getting out and about, travelling and keeping active! If I’m not at work, you’ll find me running round a park, baking cakes or out with friends for a natter!
